Hi my name is Chica, I'm an Orange Wing
Amazon. I'm 17 yrs old, my hatchday is Oct 24th, 1992. I
lived with a couple families before I came here to live The family
that Mom got me from didn't even know what kind of Amazon I was. They
had also been told that I was a little over a year old when they
bought me, but Mom told that that wasn't true because I have an
import band on my leg. I like having Cj and Calipso to talk to here,
but my favorite thing in life is my bell.

Hi I'm Chiefer, I'm a Moluccan
Cockatoo. I'm 12 yrs old, my hatch day is June 20th, 1997.
My first family bought me as a little nekked baby and hand fed me.
They loved me, but were miss guided on how to care for me. When I was
4 yrs old they got a divorce and I went to live with another family.
They didn't keep me long because I was too loud for them and needed
too much attention. Then I was on to my next home, here the lady
really loved me, but her husband and son were afraid of me so it
didn't last long. Then I went to live with John and Michelle for a
short time. They knew I couldn't stay with them because they had a
houseful of Macaws and I was bad for their health,so I went to live
with Sammy's old Mom. I went and lived there for 6 yrs,it was nice
because I had another Moluccan Cockatoo to play with all the time and
other Cockatoos to talk to. Then my Mom started having health
problems and needed to rehome me because of all the dust. She got in
touch with Michelle and asked if I could come back here to live. They
all live in a bigger house now so they don't have to worry about my
dust and the Macaws anymore,so home I came. It is just like I never
left and the only time I stop talking is when I'm sleeping.
